Course covers essential skills needed to navigate the Work Order, Service Request, GIS, Asset Inventory, and Warehouse Inventory modules. Users learn how to view/search/complete work, view/search for assets, view/search for items, and learn how to use GIS selection tools.

Course builds on basics in Web Level 1 and introduces linked Work Orders, filtering options, asset parent/child relationships, and grid view. The course also introduces the Inspections and Store module.


Course focuses on various asset inventory features including how to add meter readings to assets, creating new assets, and editing asset information. The course also introduces Condition Assessments, how to create them and how to complete them for assets. Advanced work management options are also explained including Board View, Subtasks, and Job Costing.

The first section of this course explains how to download and log into your NEXGEN site while on the iPad. By the end of the course, users will have learned how to view and search for assets/work orders/items, complete work, and utilize GIS tools. Other skills covered in this course include how to refresh NEXGEN data on the iPad and how to access offline mode.

Building on iPad Level 1, this course expands on skills learned about the Service Request, Asset Inventory, and Work Order modules. Users are also introduced to the Condition Assessment and Inspection modules on the iPad. By the end of the course users will have learned how to add customers to Service Requests, link Service Requests and Work Orders, edit asset information, add meter readings, create/edit/complete inspections and condition assessments, and create work orders from templates.

Users also learn how to adjust existing PM schedules, create new PMs, and adjust PM details. Users learn about resources and how to create new employees, equipment, and crews. Users also learn about reports including how to run reports and schedule them. Advanced Asset Inventory options are also explained including how to associate a Bill of Materials to assets.

This course covers advanced skills related to the Condition Assessments module including prioritizing asset condition assessments, condition assessment scheduling, and reviewing completed condition assessments. The course also covers the Predictive Maintenance, Timesheet, Training, and Project modules. Adhoc Reports are also covered in this course. Completion of Core User Web Levels 1-3 is recommended before attempting this course.
